Infinity Reference Models Woofer & Midrange Speaker Refoam Kit
Model #’s include:
– Reference Three, Reference Four, Reference 40, Reference 50, Sterling SS-2005 and more.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair two (2) woofers and two (2) mids:
– Refoaming Instructions
– Two 8″ Foam Surrounds
– Two 5″ Foam Surrounds
– Shims for the 1″ Voice Coils (If Selected)
– 1 Tube of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive (strong and sticky to bond on the poly cones)
*These speakers are easy to refoam and to center by hand. Otherwise if you want to shim the voice coils select shims with the order, but there are no new dust caps available, so you will have to peel up the original caps and reuse them.
8″ Woofer
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 7.75″
B – Roll ends = 6.938″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 6″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 5.5″
5″ Mid
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 4.5″
B – Roll ends = 3.94″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 3.19″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 2.94″
