Snell 8″ Special Refoam Kit
This kit will fit the Snell Type E III & Type E IV speakers that use the Vifa M21WN-07 4 ohm woofer and the Snell Type E II speakers that use the Seas H334 CA21FE/B-SN 4 ohm woofer. They will also fit the Type J II, III and IV. This is not a generic surround, it is made specifically for some of these Vifa and Seas woofers. The generic surrounds that others sell are the wrong foam composite and have a smaller roll size.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair two (2) woofers:
– Refoaming Instructions
– 2 Unique Foam Surrounds (F8-14)
– 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*It can be difficult to remove the dust cap on these woofers. We recommend hand centering this woofer instead of shimming the voice coil when replacing the foam surround. When the glue is still tacky you can move the cone up and down. If you feel or hear the voice coil rubbing, just keep moving the cone assembly until it is free of rubbing.
