Cerwin Vega 12 inch: LW-12 and SW-12B Red Refoam Kit – 1 Foam Surround
This kit will fit the CV LW-12, SW-12B and SW-12-B 12″ Subwoofer and also many CV 12″ speaker models that have an angled attachment to cone.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair one (1) woofer:
– Refoaming Instructions
– One 12″ Red Foam Surround (F12-6) – Made in the USA
– Shims For Centering the Voice Coil (If Selected)
– One 3.75″ or 4.5″ CV Logo Felt Dust Cap (If Selected)
– 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*It can be difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims in the voice coil gap. The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed. If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.
