ESS AMT3 Rock Monitor Complete Refoam Kit
This is the correct kit that fits on the dual 10″ woofers and the 6″ midranges.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair four (4) woofers and two (2) mids:
– Refoaming Instructions
– Four 10″ (F10-10) and Two 6″ (F6-1) Foam Surrounds
– Shims For Centering the 1.5″ Woofer and 1″ Mid Voice Coils
– Kit comes with four 2.75″ Felt Dust Caps for the woofers and two 1.75″ Felt Dust Caps for the Mids
– Large Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*It can be difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims. The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed. If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.
10″ Woofers
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 9.75″
B – Roll ends = 8.625″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 7.625″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 7.125″
6″ Midranges
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 5.9″
B – Roll ends = 5.25″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 4.25″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 3.8″
