JBL 6.5″ Refoam Kit
This kit will fit 6.5″ speakers that have an angled attachment to the cone. This is the correct kit that fits on the JBL 2600, HP420, J2060 speakers and many more models.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair two (2) speakers:
– Refoaming Instructions
– 2 Foam Surrounds
– 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*We recommend hand centering this woofer instead of shimming the voice coil when replacing the foam surround. When the glue is still tacky you can move the cone up and down. If you feel or hear the voice coil rubbing, just keep moving the cone assembly until it is free of rubbing.
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 5.95″
B – Roll ends = 5.5″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 4.75″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 4.4″
