Kenwood 10″ Refoam Kit
This kit will fit Kenwood 10″ speaker models that have an angled attachment to the cone. Check for correct dimensions.
Model #’s include:
– LS-405A, LS-405B, LS-407B and many more.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair two (2) speakers:
– Refoaming Instructions
– 2 Foam Surrounds
– Shims for Centering the 1.5″ Voice Coils (if selected)
– No Dust Caps (Reuse if you use the shims)
– 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*These woofers have a unique dust cap because of the Kenwood logo. We recommend refoaming these woofers without cutting off the dust caps or using shims. The voice coil sits in a fairly large gap and is easy to refoam by hand centering it. If you still would like to cut off the dust caps and would like shims, let us know and we will send shims with the kit. You will need to reglue the original dust caps back down after the shims are removed.
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 9.75″
B – Roll ends = 8.875″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 7.75″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 7.125″
