MW Audio MT-1191 v2: 1 inch Dome Tweeter for KEF 104/2 Speaker
This is NOT a factory KEF part. It is a great replacement for the KEF 104/2 speakers ONLY that use the KEF T33 SP1191 4 ohm tweeter. It is a perfect drop in fit with no modification needed. We have even applied a new foam gasket on the top of the diaphragm plate just like the original KEF tweeter and the voice coil is cooled with ferro fluid. Our replacement tweeter has 2 different size terminals on it. The blue wire connects to the larger positive terminal and the brown wire connects to the smaller negative terminal.
This tweeter replacement is ONLY good for the 104/2 speakers, it will NOT mount on the face plate of the original T33 tweeter made for other models. However, if you get creative and find a way to mount to to the face plate it will sonically be a great replacement.
