Paradigm Titan 6.5″ Refoam Kit
This kit will fit Paradigm 6.5″ speaker models that have an angled attachment to cone. These are very unique surrounds because the angled part that attaches to the cone is straight. See close up of the picture to see.
Models include:
– Titan, Titan v.2, Titan v.3, Titan v.4 and more.
Each Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair two (2) woofers:
– Refoaming Instructions
– 2 Foam Surrounds (F6-6)
– Shims for Centering 1″ Voice Coils (If selected)
– Two 2.25″ Screen Dust Caps (If selected) The original dust caps are 1.875″
– 1 Tube of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive (strong and sticky for poly cones)
*It can be difficult to refoam a speaker without removing the dust cap and inserting the plastic shims. The plastic shims are used to center the voice coil and cone assembly while the speaker is being refoamed. If you do not use the plastic shims, the voice coil may be off center and it may lead to the voice coil rubbing.
A – Outside diameter of the surround = 5.95″
B – Roll ends = 5.375″
C – Roll starts / O.D. of the cone = 4.625″
D – Inside diameter of the surround = 4.4″
