Velodyne 15″ Refoam Kit
This kit will fit lots of Velodyne 15″ subwoofer models, but not all.
Double check the dimensions of your sub before ordering.
Fits models:
– FSR15, ULD-15, ULD-15 series II, F-1500 and many more.
This Refoam Kit includes all the materials needed to repair one (1) subwoofer:
– Refoaming Instructions
– 1 Foam Surround
– 1 Bottle of Specially Formulated Foam Surround Adhesive
*These subs can be difficult to refoam because of the servo networks under the dust caps. Therefore, we recommend hand centering this subwoofer instead of shimming the voice coil when replacing the foam surround. When the glue is still tacky you can move the cone up and down. If you feel or hear the voice coil rubbing, just keep moving the cone assembly until it is free of rubbing. Contact us if you want us to refoam the subwoofer for you. The repair cost is usually around $50 + shipping.
